Please explain.
They look like my welds using my $100 Harbor Freight MIG welder. They are functional, just not pretty.

If you think those welds are not pretty you should see some of my welds from a few years ago.

The damn aluminum drive wheel. It is not the Friction disc. The drive wheel has broken twice. I don't know what is wrong with it. I am certain replacing it again will render another broken drive wheel. I bought a couple of old Simplicity walk behind tractors. Going to try to make one work. Also have a couple of grasshopper zero turn tractors with PTO. I am thinking of making one into a walk behind tractor. I think can do that with one hydrostatic transmission. But not a winter project. I have to get the dog kennel done. Freaking cold outside in the wind.

If I got ambitious and knew I wouldn't have issues with the town, I could put true roll up doors like they have at storage facilities in each 9 foot area. So basically 2 on front, 2 on back and 3 on each side. So roll up the door and have access from outside to each area.

The friction disc, sometimes the surface it contacts gets a coating of rubber on it, bumps, etc. If you replace that disc clean off that surface with something. I forget what type of alcohol I used, not the drinking kind as thats alcohol abuse!

You can wear out the rubber on the disc quickly without doing that. Note, I may have misunderstood your problem. Shed is looking good!

It is not the friction disc. It is the aluminum drive wheel that the friction disc rides against. I don't really want to turn this into a snowblower thread. All I was saying is it has been changed once and broke after a few minutes of use. Changed again and broke again. Something else is wrong and causing the drive wheel to break. I will probably never fix it. I will probably take that nice motor off it and put it on a vintage Simplicity walk behind and put a plow on it. But for now it is in storage. It will not get fixed or taken off that shelf this year.
