I thought this would be SO easy to find, but no. Maybe somebody here can point me to it.

I need a cycle timer relay, adjustable for infinitely repeating on/off intervals, approximately 10 minutes on and 5 off. The timer should be powered by plugging into a standard 120v outlet, or I could hard-wire it to 120v. The relay should should switch a separate 24v DC circuit. Battery powered might be OK, but I’d much rather have the reliability of plug-it-in-and-forget-it. I want quality, not the average Lowes or Amazon junk.

Can anyone recommend a source for this? All I can find is fancy industrial equipment. Maybe I'm just calling it by the wrong name when I ask Google.... :?

I’d say that you need 2 devices.

Repeat or loop timer.
Plus a 24vdc transformer with common 120vac primary.

Does this timer run its cycle indefinitely?

Yes, I want it to run continuously, 10 minutes on, 5 off. So preferably something solid state rather than mechanical.
This looks like it would do the job, but all the YouTube videos describing it are in Indian languages like Hindi and Tamil. :?

Still looking. Intermatic has a LOT of timers, but what I have seen so far are way more complicated than I need -- just simply close a relay for x minutes, then open it for y minutes, repeat forever.

After much study (learning!) I have concluded that you are exactly right.

Since a room thermostat is involved, I have ordered a 24v AC-output transformer rather than DC-output. DC would work if I set up the circuit a little differently.

Also ordered the GRT8-S1 ON/OFF Repeat Cycle Relay -- thanks, CoalisCool.... That one was a little confusing because they call it a "delay relay" as well as a "repeat cycle relay", which technically are different animals, I think.

Thanks for the help, people.

Here is a cyclic relay with two dry contacts. It is available as a panel mount or Octal base.

I looked at that and another Selec model, and found some YouTube videos explaining them in a couple of Indian languages/dialects or whatever they were. Harder to understand than the robocalls I get telling me that my internet has viruses and will be shut off if I don't pony up some cash. But surprisingly, I could pretty much comprehend how they work because there were plenty of pictures.

Almost. It doesn't have quite the flexibility or capacity of the one I ordered, but it would probably do the job if that one doesn't work out. Thanks for finding it.
