Might this be the pump you have?

GRUNDFOS SP .50-HP 10S05-9 SUBMERSIBLE PUMP 230V 2 WIREust

A quick search and this pump is the only one that comes up. Whoever installed it may have record of installation and listed parts and labor costs. Luckily. if I remember correctly, businesses need to keep 7 years worth of tax related information. If I'm wrong on that someone will correct me.

In the end, after being inspired by Rob, I installed a CSV1A constant pressure valve, and replaced my 20 gallon pressure tank with a tiny 4.5 gallon tank. I also tightened down on the adjustment nut of my pressure switch until it had been turned into a 40-60 switch. The CSV1A holds our homes water pressure at ~48 PSI for our highest GPM faucet when wide open, and at ~52 PSI for our lowest GPM faucet when wide open.

For the first time ever my wife and I took simultaneous showers this morning, and both showers were perfect.

Here are some pictures. The red thing with the blue hose running between it and the pressure switch is the CSV1A constant pressure valve, and the small white expansion tank is the wells 4.5 gallon pressure tank. The 75 PSI pressure relief valve can be seen as the shiny brass thing just above the head of our tall oxidizer tank in photo 1. The clear vinyl tubing seen in the photos runs from the pressure relief valve to a drain pipe coming out of the floor.

Thanks! For anyone who might be confused by the way things flow, the well water entering the wall is in the white PVC pipe, which transitions out of view to 3/4" copper behind the left-most water softener tank, just past the red handled PVC ball valve.
