picked up this Wheel horse 208-5 wednesday evening.
my friend dave needs a riding mower for his place, he has been paying someone 60 dollars a week to do it.
it would only run on choke. i went to order a carb kit and a new carb was cheaper.

Nice L, ya can't kill them. I got a 312-8 12 hp--48" deck--1985 & it runs circles around the old Cub. Looks like ya got a nice chunk of land there. That button under the seat is a kill switch--I unplugged mine. Nice man cave by the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

looks like your friend owes you one Lincoln!

I had an old neighbor who had an old 3 wheeled Wheel Horse he mowed with. Small engine and deck but I remember how it turned on a dime and damned near popped wheelies. I dont see many Wheel Horse mowers here.

Is Wheel Horse still Wheel Horse? When I do a Craigslist search I keep finding people selling "Toro Wheel Horse" tractor/mowers.

toro bought wheel horse from american motors in 1986. starting in 1988 they were all marked toro-wheel horse. i believe that lasted until 1996
