A large pine tree fell on my shedtropolis destroying the 10x20 barn shed.
i think the big shed is ok. the main part needs a roof anyway.
all my shop equipment is stored in the red shed. and my alaska stoker and my dads and my uncles tools and the cub cadet and the lawn stuff and a couple small block ford engines.
i have a tree service coming friday and they are going to cut the tree and help me move the engines and the air compressor and stuff that can't be carried to a storage pod.

Sorry for that Lincoln. It was a very rough night around here too... one I do not wish to repeat. Better the shed than wind damage to your house!

scary part is i have two even larger pine trees in front of my house. i could see the trunks moving in the wind. my mom has lived on this street 69 years and those trees were always there she said.
also in my front yard is a large half dead mulberry tree. not one dead rotten branch fell off that tree in this wind!

yea i live in a low valley, behind the house about 1/4 mile is the monocacy creek. we have red clay and hard red shale about 3 foot down... the big root snapped off at ground level. two of these big pines have blown into the neighbors house in a wind storm once 15-20 yrs ago.
contents are fine. my engine hoist is holding the roof up on one side and on the other side a bucket on top of a toolbox on top of a workbench, the tools got knocked out of a toolbox. the light fixtures are broken and there is broken bulbs all over. Glad it wasn't the house.

Consider that lucky it could have been a lot worse, last summer I cut a bunch of branches and stuff (last winter a branch broke and just brushed the windows on the house) the property had elderly owners (I’m getting closer than I’d like !) and the trees weren’t taken care of, so they drop a lot of branches !!!
