I have seen powdered ammonia recommended. Spread in attic and they leave. Moth balls might work too.

I can just imagine how hard it is to shoo those squirrels away.

I live trapped 9 flying squirrels with a have heart trap. I put it right where they where living that is fiberglass in joist cavity, Twodied from the stress of being trapped and I released 7 of them after driving them 5 miles away , some suggested farther. ITs time consuming as once the trapped is spring no more get trapped till i release and reset . them try to tighten up the house

Having this problem right now in my shop. Traps dont work. Don't live close enough to properly utilize the Pellet gun. Powdered aluminum?

Rat traps with peanut butter. Never fails.

Set a rat trap with peanut butter and got a bird after a week of him walking right by it. No go.

i was in the business of critter control i have on occasion seen squirrels chew chicken wire. I would recommend using wire cloth such as 1/2 x 1/2 wire has always worked well for me. If you use have a havea heart trap they drowned real easy only takes a minute or so.

They do a lot of damage to homes.Root out all your insulation, chew holes in everything, including the wiring.Really make a mess,and stink as well. I had to use shielded wiring in one property. I trap em and dispatch em with a pellet gun at close range. A $29 pellet gun will do the job. Wire Box traps work well.

foothold trap on a long board run. (think of a log across the ravine). Wire the trap chain to that object. When he gets caught he jumps or falls off and hangs in mid air til you get there. Dog proof, not cat proof. You can rub bait on the board if you want but they'll use it anyway. If you want you can use conibear traps. Anywhere you know they are running put a trap there.

Funner is a 45-70 from a couple hundred yards

I use one for woodchucks and they never walk away. 22's and 12 gauges are too nice.
