After seeing a couple pics I was weak and click happy.....and bought a thermal cam attachment for the android.

Its a Flir One, bought through Home Depot website since that had the cheapest price, no delivery charge to the local home depot and no sales tax since that one is in DE.

Picked it up today and have been testing it....

The Mag Stoker...

That thing would cost me a fortune in insulation!! Still would be really cool to have though.

Currently $215 on Home Depot website...

http://www.homedepot.com/p/FLIR-ONE-Thermal-Imaging-Camera-for-Android-757928/206480277

I figure with using it at our house, inlaws, my parents, and the rental I should find enough HVAC savings to pay for it quickly.

I think I'll use it on the tractors to see if the glow plugs are all working too. Just remembered I need to take a shot of the breaker box and see if any are running hot.

Attic access in original house without the insulation box...

attic pull down steps in addition with insulation box...much more better

Need to make a box for the old access rather than just have 12" of insulation laying on the piece of drywall.
