if it makes you feel any better, by watching your work I am getting inspired to replace the 25 yo decking on mine...... in the spring....when its warm! of course the inspiration may wear off by then!

now you'll have to include a finished video to complete the 'before and after' story! your project would be a good excuse to get a new tool, too!

Merry Christmas unhippy, the accent sounded to me like you said repairing the “dick” instead of the “deck” but the video helped to guide me as to what you were up to. I take comfort in knowing Americans aren’t the only ones who “eyeballed it” while building houses.

I would like to give some surprise dental work to the "dick" that did alot of the bodge jobs on this house before I moved in :mad:

Whoever eyeballed this must have been three sheets to the wind when they installed the joists.....altho I really shouldn't bag them completely, it is beautifully level and flat for which i'm thankful as an uneven deck would drive me mental
