For users who have never had the pleasure of operating a unit with this feature, you likely think it is just a gimmick. I won't buy a snowblower without the power steering feature on it. This feature turns an unruly hard to handle big snowblower into a very manageable machine for even old folks to use.
Honda snowblowers are sold with a power steering feature. They call it fingertip steering. Quoted from the website:

"Left and right control levers provide easy and intuitive steering control. The steering control levers also provide easy movement and transport, even with the engine off. Just pull and hold both levers for neutral, then easily roll the snow blower."
I guess they have caught up to the competition then...
Only 25-30 yrs late.. Hard to believe it took an innovative company like Honda so long to bring this feature to the market.

If I had the opportunity to own one it would be one of the Zaugg
walk behinds, it would make up for all the trouble fluffy has caused me.

You guys almost had me thinking it was time to upgrade. Till I broke out my 40+ year old Ariens earlier today. I plowed into the front porch area and she never skipped a beat. The snow falling of the roof is heavy and with ice too.
The wife was glad to hear there's no need to upgrade the snowblower. lol
