I do believe this man is a genius, must be a well financed one. His projects are always a learning experience, this one is especially applicable to us, am I correct in saying his whole premise is based on what causes puffbacks and how the AHS wood burners get better efficiency?

His YouTube channel is like a black hole to me! Once I click one video it's all downhill from there! Half of it is the accent and the other is his ingenuity. He's not drolling on in engineese about some theory that he built some awkward expensive device to simulate for no purpose except to prove the theory, he comes up with awesome projects and then an outrageously clever way to implement them. Then uses all things steampunk as his motto! I'm usually very annoyed by people who act super epic and dramatic like the DudePerfect channel but this guy actually does above the norm projects and I think he is trying to be goofy not cool

I watched about 2/3 of the video and found it more entertaining than anything else. Not something I'd do but why not... He is real good at explaining things. I'll have to check out some of his other videos. Thanks!

That mower is idiotic. I invent things. Useful things.
Any good inventor would show the invention first and then show how he made it.
If he and I made a vid of the "best" of our inventions no one would make his and millions would make mine. Assuming I'd be happy to give my IP away free...

You're missing the point of it. He's not making an attempt to make something useful, this is entertainment. Kind of like a more evolved edition of the red green show but actual science. I sure hope you aren't watching a bunch of grown men running around a green field playing with a ball getting a fat check to do so, if you want to talk about a impractical use of talent, but that's entertainment- it's not supposed to be useful per se, it's just how people unwind. Nowhere does he claim to be a genius or inventor, just having fundavidmcbeth3 wrote: ↑Sun. May. 14, 2023 1:12 pmThat mower is idiotic. I invent things. Useful things.

David was just fixing a tiller. He may be having anger issues. Plus he's a Bears fan. That should explain it
