Lots of reasons why we don't have trucking outfits jumping on the EV wagon.

Sweden is tiny compared to the USA. Its mostly short haul compared to a major portion of our trucking industry.

The massive batteries needed would add weight to already heavy vehicles.

We have a transportation shortage problem now. Switching to trucks that have a shorter range, fewer places to "refuel", and if they can find a charger, are out of service longer, that will not improve our trucking delivery system.

Have you figured out where all the power will be coming from to charge all the EVs you keep claiming are our "future".

Got your backyard windmill set up yet ?

Take aways from the video. 1. All the moving trucks were running on diesel. 2. It takes a long time to charge a truck. You can put 1,000 miles worth of diesel in a truck in 10 minutes or less. 3. Fifty minutes to charge your car would put the ICE vehicle 45 miles down the road already. 4. He drove about 190 miles and his battery was down to about 25%. And a final question; would you sleep in a truck that was charging?

Opps, German windmills have to go,........ to reopen a coal mine. :o

Seems the windmills are not providing enough electricity , like coal-fired power plants can.

A case of an energy-dense fuel verses too-dense enviro-mentalists. :D
