Auto manufacturers racing to BANKRUPTCY
Which auto company will go bankrupt first???... Many are trying very hard...
Will it be Nissan, Mitsubishi,Renault,Mazda,Jaguar,or many more, you
name them.
Nissan took a big step by selling its Russian operation for less than $1 us.

None of the legacy manufacturers are exempt.... They all have debt and are
in a dying ICE market where all of their assets are worthless, who would want
an old ICE assembly line?
Even Toyota ,which has the largest debt in the world ,could be in big trouble, who
would loan them money on assets worth zero?

So what you're saying is most of a current vehicle design revolves around the ICE? So electric vehicles don't have tires, suspensions systems, bodies, paint jobs, braking systems, climate control, radios, mirrors, power windows, seats, carpet, headliners....sure we'll just scrap everything because we changed several components?
*edit* Are you saying we should switch to electric but the singlemost companies who could have the infastructure to do so are incompetent, isn't that another way of saying this isn't a good switch!?

Where we getting all this lithium from?
If you order a new hybrid car today it could be a year before it arrives at the dealership. order a non hybrid and it's ready in 2 to 3 months.

There are lots of spare parts for electric cars from all the flooded ones in Florida, well, the ones that didnt catch fire will have parts.... Ok, I guess there arent any spare parts then.

Sure, but they won't let anyone actually mine it. To many regulations.nut wrote: ↑Fri. Oct. 14, 2022 3:58 pmCalifornia has a lithium mine large enough for our needs https://www.forbes.com/sites/alanohnsman/2022/08/ ... 2ceee4f631

What company will be the first to go back to a purely functional car? A fuel efficient 4 door, crank Windows, steel rims, etc. Maybe a radio. A "get me to work and back home safely" car. Maybe all wheel drive. I don't care if it's even an EV. Has to be sub 10G.

Dont forget an echo box! Cassettes are for sissy boys! I think it was Chrysler (could be wrong) that had a factory record player way back when. That would sell a car to me!
