Vehicles are a problem because the pollution produced is spread out

and there is no easy way to clean it up ,whereas an EV has the energy

produced in one place where strict controls can be mandated.

People will be able to produce a greater share of their energy usage

on site where no fossil fuels are used.

One of the great drawbacks of fossil fuels is that there is no practical

way to recycle the byproducts of the combustion process where only

a small part is actually used to do useful work.

Remember that much of the materials have enough value that they

are worth recycling from EV vehicles for unlimited reuse in vehicles over

many cycles.

And once again your ignoring all the fossil fuel and pollution with everything connected with electricity and the grid that is feeding your so-called clean energy.

And we've yet to see what's coming with the environmental impact of manufacturing the batteries that make EVs heavier than comparable ICE vehicles.

Not the rosy picture for the environment that the EV lovers try to paint.

And how much energy is used in "recycling" those valuable materials, which your stuck having to because there is no alternative at battery end of life with so many highly toxic and reactive metals in them ?

BTW I can link you to a thread by a guy in North Carolina discussing a recent trip with his brother in the brother's Tesla on a 100+ mile trip. The Tesla lost 40% of their starting out charge just by having to run the AC on a 95 degree day. Similar power/range loss happens in extreme cold of winter.
