Electric rates are going up just as Gas prices are coming down. Cheaper gas and high priced KWs cant be good for EVs.

Ouch ! I just priced what those arc fault breakers would cost at Lowes. Even with my veteran's discount it's about $1200.00 to fill one 200 amp box,....... and I have 2 boxes of breakers.waytomany?s wrote: ↑Wed. I hate to think what this 400 amp upgrade would have cost me today.

Good for you .. prices will drop.
My Volt price or value , used, went up 75% due to high gas prices and of the general rising of used car prices.. Coming back down now.
Most of my cars I sold for almost same price I bought them for. For my hybrids I sold.

That looks more modern I should be able to run 300 feet of 16 gauge extension cord to plug my new EV in...davidmcbeth3 wrote: ↑Thu. Mar. 02, 2023 3:37 amwarminmn ... My house runs on 60A. I think I'll get an EV, lol

I hear the car bubble is soon about to pop. Supposedly supply is starting to catch up and exceed demand tanking prices. Those late model volts come down under 10k again i might grab one.

I didn't have to use arc fault breakers in 2019 when the garage got wired and the house got upgraded to 200 amp service that would have cost a fortune!
I have space for a ev charger but the price of cars needs to come down. Tesla project highland might be able to build a sub 25 grand ev we will have to wait and see.
My Sonata hybrid can go 600 miles on a tank of fuel. Getting 41 mpg in this mild weather where no a/c is required and not much heat needed. I looked at a few all electric cars but the ones in my price range don't have much range.
