Zealots never give up. I will add it to the others , J Ws, geothermal, solar panels, heat pumps, the list is endless. Now I have a list of broke ladies (mostly fat and ugly) who's barns are closing due to costs and they want to ride here. Leave me alone.
If you want opinions don't read my posts which are all backed with facts and
not my opinion. Data is where the value is not in opinions which have no facts.
I use all creditable sources and not a reporters opinions on subjects they have
little knowledge of.
I don't sell anything and am not here to advertise any product or service.
Just the facts ma'am and only the facts.NO BS..DRAGNET.

When you can buy a used EV for around 20,000 that isn’t rusted out and beat to crap, let me know…. In town right now there’s 3 small cars 2017-2019 with around 50,000 miles on them for around 17,000-20,000 dollars, there 30-35mpg cars easy, or I can go drop 60,000 on a new EV, wait 6-9 months to take delivery, and have to install a charging station, and pay out the rear for insurance until musk Offers his own!
Probably about 15 years from now EVs might start making sense…

Still questions that need facts,....
Have EVs reached 2% of the market share yet ?
And how many more brown-outs this summer for lack of grid capacity ?

And that is the best question that can be asked regarding all this green energy BS. My friend Joe, works union const, & worked at least one year on big wind farms somewhere near Plattsburg, NY. Engineers were telling him that electric companies can only use so much, or limited amounts because some of the more rural grids are so outdated they just can't handle the capacity. He also explained that that is why when you see a wind farm, some blades are turning & sometimes some are not. So apparently, while all this green pwr sounds good, in real world application............It's gonna be a while.

I just read a classic sci-fi story. The hero had traveled 60 light years from earth to another star system. The trip took 8 months. He wanted to send a message to an orbiting satellite, so he went to the radio room, waited patiently while the vacuum tubes in the transmitter heated up, then tapped out his message in Morse code. Even Harlan Ellison was short on some kinds of imagination!
So keep up the good work, BB. Old farts, set in their ways, have to be desensitized gradually by exposure to new ideas.
