The new "green movement",... green with envy for those still burning fossil fuels to stay warm and not have to sit in the dark.

Yep - the whole thing is a total joke. The EV isn't ready for mainstream usage yet ... but our know-it-all government thinks this is the way to go. The grid can't even handle what we've got right now!! Idiots all around these days!

I can only imagine what I'd have to go through to haul a pickup truck on my flatbed trailer, when it's 0° outside. I'd spend 8 hours driving and 8 hours charging, all told. Can't make any money that way!! :no1:

According to mark mills even if every car and truck were an EV ,Oil use would only drop 10%.

The “Energy Transition” Delusion A Reality Reset

That cant happen anyway with current amount of copper and other minerals are no where near in enough supply and wont be anytime soon.

My Money is on oil, gas and coal. Not Tesla stock. Also electric but thats not about EVs. Hybrids will win out over EVs IMO.You already have some of those so your set.

i have driven my Volt 1200 mi in one day. No need to stop to charge it..it also can run on gas. This is the kind of EV tech that should be pushed, not all-all electric.

That guy set it up to fail of course.

I agree ,ZERO range anxiety. No need for a huge battery, option ,options.
Cold weather , just use the good old ICE engine where the waste product is heat. No place to charge No, problem. Even Toyota still makes Hybrids,EVS not so much. GM should be still making the volt or some larger version of it.

I drove my Volt on interstate, let EV-electric be used up, went to gas. Let all the gas to be consumed. The the EV electric system came back on, car slowed to 45 MPH and I got to a gas station with 1 mile left on EV-low propulsion milage-left indicator. Filled up with gas and continued on.
