While the world is worried about climate change, COVID and containers piling up in the West coast they are missing the big picture. China sources urea to the world and has just stopped dead. 10,000 trucks stopped right now with no DEF and it is getting worse. Sensors out of stock and next year no fertilizer. There are small scale work arounds but we and the rest of the world need a lot of urea and NOW. WHOOPS

I live near the Chillicothe Ohio Kenworth plant. There are several storage lots full of brand new partially assembled Kenworth road tractors, cab & chassis an other sorts of trucks. I bet there are at least 50 acres altogether, I have seen them being TOWED from the assembly exit to one of the storage lots by a wrecker truck. This has been going on for more than a year. I have no idea how they can continue to operate. There has to be many many millions of dollars worth of trucks sitting on gravel lots in the weather not moving.

Must be hard to predict the market demand for anything these days. Or is it they are missing some small part that is on 6 month back order like Ford trucks. Perhaps they know (or think they know) something you do not. Like the end of the pandemic, the end of shipping screw ups and there is an explosive demand for trucks.

My grandfathers friend in England in WWII bought used cars for next to nothing during the war when everyone said Hitler would win. He said well if we lose we all lose everything anyway but if we win no one will be making enough cars as they are all making military stuff and it takes time to switch back over. Sure enough he made a killing. Or is it that were made in Ohio and those are the ones that don't work right ... hhahahahhaha, I kill myself.
