Here comes the new performance vehicles that will make the old

models seems like grandmas Rambler SW...

Seven motors for all out performance. 0 to 170mph in 8 seconds....

ttps://www.cnn.com/2020/07/21/success/ford-electric-must ... index.html

Show those NASCAR darlings some real power...

https://cleantechnica.com/2020/07/21/ford-mustang ... car-venue/

Move the old iron out to the junkyard and replace with new technology...

https://techcrunch.com/2020/07/21/ford-takes-cues ... ng-mach-e/

"These numbers often outclass those from gasoline cars thanks to how electric motors deliver power. These 0-60 times are often irrelevant to daily driving, and yet, Tesla, like most automakers, sees them as a critical marketable statistic."

Those old gas guzzlers are history..

Hey, we had a Rambler when I was a kid!

The one selling to the public only has 459 HP. About $44K before the govt welfare. I dont care for the styling as it just doesnt look like a Mustang to me but I imagine some will like it.

They mostly (maybe completely?) quit making real cars (the low profile car design) a year or two ago. Now they all look similar, like trucks do.

I wouldnt mind taking the prototype for a quick spin though.

I'm surprised they put the Mustang name on that and not because it's electric. I don't have much use for a car that can go 0 to 170mph in 8 seconds. When it can do 0 to 500 miles and then do it again repeatedly ten minutes later let me know.

And that's after over 20 years of trying to win over the market.

"Gas guzzling" automobiles made horse drawn transport obsolete faster than that in the early 1900's.
