It was a great moment for the Pres. The fans loved every bit of it. And so did the drivers.

Not rain. Liberal tears after Trump and Melania did a lap in the beast.

Prayers sent for Ryan Newman!

Sadly though, watching cars turn left all afternoon gets boring.

This was racing, but it’s gone😩

Can-Am was big with me back in the day. Any racing where the teams make their own cars and develop their own engines trumps boring kit-car racing. The IndyCar series is another example of kit-cars and boring racing.

Going the way of IROC(IRL). Damned Shame! I used to be able to get in touch with my Inner Hillbilly Racing Fanatic and have Tons of Fun in Hooterville Junction with Real Folks, not Plastic Yuppies! They took a Huge Dump on their Loyal Base Fans, dumping tracks like Rockingham. When they built the Yuppie Cookie Cutter Tracks, that signaled the Yawning Barf You Witness today. When they stripped Crew Chiefs of their Creative Abilities,Poof!,another box of nails in Der' Coffin! Damn,I Miss Alan Kulwicki and Dave Blaney! Even that Crazy Bastard, none other than Sterling Marlin!!

I miss David Pearson in the Purolator Mercury. Those were the days of real NASCAR racing.

I read somewhere that in the last 20 years, NASCAR has lost 46% of its viewers.

It is too bad. A lot of good stuff came out of racing, and a lot of good stuff is yet to come, but man they have to make it interesting.

We used to have a nice local track, but the cost just got away from people. Tires at $500, cars at $50,000...it is just too expensive of a hobby. But it was nice while it lasted.

When I was a kid I got Bobby Allison SR's autograph...SENIOR...now that is going back a ways!
