And to throw another wrench in, I am getting a Goldwing in the near future, to ride with my brother up in the Smokeys and the Blueridge....I don't want to hear a thing and vibrate over the mountains. And an electric one would look like the Tesla I saw by the side of the road in Conn. after getting trapped in an accident backup and running out of electrons. Ride your ride indeed.

What year Goldwing ?
If you can possibly avoid it Don't get an 1800, the 1500's were WAY better laid out and had the very best adjustable air flow
You can also find many very good examples with low miles and real bargain prices
Good luck and " ride like a gladiator, someone dies in the arena everyday and you are the only one who can make sure it's not you"

My brother rides a 2003 and the price was right. He prefers the 1800 engine and has been to California and back to NY and this year to Colorado. No issues with the ride but maybe not familiar with the airflow and layout. He likes the antilock brake feature and I can see the plus to that having rode older bikes. I will take the advice into consideration for research....If you can possibly avoid it Don't get an 1800, the 1500's were WAY better laid out and had the very best adjustable air flow
And I am to old for a big old Harley Fred, my neighbor has one and he is a skinny fellow and can handle it. But I never liked the loudness. I know why some do, but just like the quite power.

hi! Yes, but I think it will be for the stock configuration. And for the one in the photo you will have to pay a lot more

Maybe not Lou, but there is such a thing as to old or to short for a Goldwing. This thing is a handful coming to a stop. Still got plenty of strength, but 29 inch inseam makes it hard. I notice the Harley guys and gals just put their feet on the ground......Might be looking at something else but not a Harley, just not a fan.

There is a lowering kit available. One that does not show. I have a lowered seat. And I have the suspension set low, as it is adjustable on the Wing. Gotta love how it rides and the power it has, but quite a handful at slow speeds.
