GM is only 12 years behind Tesla on auto update for motor

vehicles... Able to catch up by 2023 to 2012 Technology...

Way to go , by then your technology will be 20 years out of date.

https://www.autonews.com/automakers-suppliers/gm- ... -tech-2023

This is the new Version # 3 of FSD computer...

"Compared to the competition, in terms of sheer computing power, the comparable NVIDIA Xavier system runs at 21 TOPS, whereas the FSD Computer runs at 144 TOPS, 7X faster."

https://www.autopilotreview.com/tesla-custom-ai-c ... ardware-3/

These same computers can do all the updates from the internet..

You know, this may get me the"Fruitcake Of The Month Award",but here goes:
In Sci-Fi World, the first episode of the remake of the "Battlestar Galactica"series had Good 'Ol Commander Adama speaking about how his Ship would always be detached from the computer grid to be free of the Cyber Attack that left the rest of the Fleet defenseless, vulnerable and ultimately destroyed. It made sense from a Security Position. Kinda funny that I'd remember that. Art,imitating Life in Our Times...

When I was a kid, we bought a Vertex mag for a big block Chevy powered altered we were running. My buddy was walking out with it spinning the gear drive at the bottom. It had one plug hanging out of the wires swinging in the air and it would produce a loud snap and a very visible spark in broad daylight just from a quick spin. THE PLUG WAS NOT EVEN GROUNDED! I was sold on it then.

Now that I think about it, he spun it with the wires in his lap on the way home, gave him quite a jolt!

He never spun it after that.

Don't have any of those, just the Vertex aircraft mag that I used in my AMX. And I rebuild automotive Strombergs, from when they were part of Bendix. Does that count ? :D
