IF you are going to stay on the farm or close to town. 90 miles range will not impress anyone around here.

here in the great lakes region they go out for days and even a week or more at a time and I can assure you there are no charging opportunities in the vast areas they cover. that kind of sledding is accomplished by pre staging fuel and supplies along the route and with high end gps navigation and location repeaters.

otherwise neat tech.

A solution in search of a problem. In my opinion snowmobiles are worthless machines and now they figured out how to make the even more worthless.

This is what snowmobiling is all about!

Let’s see that electric thing do this out there in the middle of God’s country!

God I love that sound!

Great video and soundtrack!

I can see how the quiet electric ones would sell well to big game poachers and greenies. They belong together anyway.

Might be ok for the suburbanite that thinks he is in the wilderness but I'm not to sure for the folks in Alaska that need a snow machine to help survive, how do you charge them if you are living off the grid and only have 4 hrs of sunlight a day at times?

Again BB you still have not answered the question of who's going to pay for all of this???
Sorry ( well not really ) but AOC must be proud of you. :baby:
I like the concept of multiple fuels but the ICE isn't going away anytime soon!! Just add fuel you are on your way!! no down time to recharge, well maybe a few minutes at the pumps.

Not to mention how batteries fall on their face at cold temps.

Yeah, with over 10,000 miles of snowmobile trails in NYS way out in the country,.... and most riders doing day long trail runs...… not much "future" in EV.

Under good conditions, top speed of 60 MPH? And 60 to 90 minutes? Sorry.... snowmobiles are power hungry and fight all kinds of friction. I'm all for electric stuff, but I don't think this is a good idea.

You won't hear my 600 ACE sneak up on your either since the track noise and skis crunching snow are louder than the motor.
