Drove to Culpeper VA on Fri, stayed at a very historic home, very rustic. Pulled up to park and there was a Tesla charger........the guy running the BB never has seen one......but there it is, just waiting for the imaginary car to come by. It was 500 miles so BB's Bolt would not have cut the mustard.

Thats funny! Next time pictures, pictures, pictures! Maybe the chargers will be like the Maytag repair men, rarely needed or used!

I’m not a “pro electric” guy or tree hugger by any means but.......

The day vehicles like these compare on price point with ICE counterparts AND can be fully charged from empty in say 5-10 minutes AND have equivalent range, Ill buy one.

However.....for true off roading say in the western US, where you need to carry spare fuel (ie jerry cans) and will be gone for days, these EV’s are not ideal.

If you like to pretend your a true rock nut then you will be all set.

At my age though I don’t think I will see that day....maybe my kids when they get older...

You may be able to cook with it but will there be any room for a few hot dogs and a pack of buns if you put a cooler in the trunk?

Paulie
No, but that's what the upcoming optional extra battery powerd trailer is for . For the low low price of 60k extra  .

The Teslas can charge from any charging station or campground

so you are never 500 miles away from a charger so the worry about

charging is a moot point .

200 miles of range is usable but 300+ is even better .

When you specify some unusual use you need a vehicle taylored

to this use.

Very good there, squire. That is the first step to logic.
