You also have to consider all the thousands of engine ,

transmission, fuel system ,exhaust, cooling system all

the complicated emission controls . All these also require

a large amount of maintenance and continuing costs all the

way to the shredder.

Many electric cars propulsion systems only have less than

20 moving parts , the transmission in electric cars are usually

1 speed reducer so very simple and are good from 0 to top

speed no shifting needed .

This is a good read BB....and it wasn't even supposed to be hard......No cold temps, dedicated lanes, pie in the sky just the same.
