Looking for recommendations for a light truck tire. I want an all terrain with good highway manners. I have Hankook Dynapro AT-M currently on the truck with 55k on them. They have been a good tire but i would like to try and find something a little more aggressive if i can. 275/70R18 or 285/65R18.
I've been running those Dynapro AT-M's for the last 10 years on different vehicles. I really like them, but my Dually ate them like candy for some reason. I'm running Coopers on it and getting about 25,000 miles out of a set. They are heavier than the Dynapros though.

BTW: The most milage I have ever gotten out of a set of tires was 42,000 on a 2wd Ford Ranger. I don't know how you guys get that many miles out of a set of tires.

I can't give you a usage review yet, but after some research i just ordered some Cooper Discoverer M&S for my 2wd Silverado. It needed tires badly since last spring and i wanted to get a little more suited for wet and winter roads. The price was about $115 installed per tire. I will keep these on all year, I put maybe 10000 mi/yr on the truck now.

Last two sets on the plow truck are Discoverers. Simpletire.com, had them next day, saved about $250.

I have always ran BF Goodrich tires on my LT trucks with very good results( just a bit costly) , On my old dually i was getting 80,000 miles on the drive axle with AT's and 65,000+ on the steer axles with a highway tread.
I just replaced the OEM drives( Michelin AT2's )at 39,000miles with BFG AT KO2's so now I'm waiting to see If I get the same wear with the new one as I did with the old style BFG AT's!! My brother in law swears by Mastercraft for his Ram but he eats the tries like crazy and Its only a gasser , he only get 25,000 miles on a set

I had a couple of sets of Hankook Dynapro AT-M's on a Silverado I used to have. I liked them a lot. I got about 32k out of each set. I also had one set of Cooper AT3's that were shot at 25k and got real noisy after 15k. Just my experience with them. Currently have General Grabber AT2's on the rear of my old 2wd Dodge. They seem to be wearing very well, but maybe a harder compound than the others mentioned. All were/are just P metric tires, not LT's.

Got my new Cooper's installed today. Very happy with them so far...awesome in heavy rain and standing water in the road. Can't wait to try them in snow.

Bf goodwrench all terrain ko2’s. Great all around tire.
I'm jealous....been waiting for the same tires. Mine were supposed to be delivered last Thurs (and might have been) but they are still not on the rack in the shop ready to be installed. Probably sitting in an unloaded trailer behind the store.
Oh well, no snow forecast for this week!

Search is still on. I cant find exactly what i want so in the end i will need to settle. Hoping to find a 285/70R18 but the only thing available are mud terrains. Probably go with 275/70. Anyone ever run Falken Wildpeak AT3? They look nice, and the price is good. Also saw the Dick Cepek Fun Country

I ended up getting Toyo open country AT2 they are a 285/75r18(35x11.50). 50k tire with an open tread pattern. New tires on a vehicle is always awesome so I will reserve judgement after 15k or so. The open tread pattern does yeild more road noise than a highway tire but overall the tires are responsive and not overly squishy considering. The new Bilstein 5100 shocks on the front also improved the ride, not sure how much of it is the tires vs the new shocks.
