You do realize that dinosaurs roamed the earth for about 60 millions years longer than humans have been around, don't you ? And they weren't replaced because we were an improvement that made them obsolete.

Applying Tesla logic to its pricing, I figure it will never sell for less than $103,500. So it will be a toy of the upper class.

If it's going to be as ugly as the mock-up, it should never sell at all.

This, on the other hand, will likely sell every single one that can possibly be built. Jeep returns to the pickup truck market just in time to blow Barney’s EV out of the water. The whole secret is that you actually have buyers BEFORE it is unveiled... take note Elon.

It is very likely there will be a Rubicon edition in my near future. Barney you will need to do better than that in order to go places that this is capable of.

I agree Larry, its ugly. Kind of looks like a cross between a 1960's IH Scout and a Corvair.

I do see the extra storage in the front being useful, but its needed with that tiny box it has.

If you want an ev that resembles a pickup there you go but not very practical. At almost 6,000 pounds curb weight it's about 1,000 more than my c3500 weighs. What happens to range when towing that 11,000 pound trailer it is rated for? What if you get a flat with a load of coal in the box? The spare is under the floor.

It is very ugly but I can see the benefit of no motor, extra storage space. Can't afford it, nor the cost of Green Mountain Power's monthly bill as it is with no EV.

So what size of solar field does it take to meet each EV demands?

And wait for the ROAD TAX RECOVERY PROGRAM where ELDs are installed in each EV and owners are billed for mileage.

Why should EVs get "tax breaks" ??? Just shifting MORE of the burden to those who buy normal cars.

Why do those who can AFFORD more expensive EVs pay LESS taxes?

Yeah, this topic is baggage that every EV carries

And don't forget that even tax payers who don't own any type of vehicle are subsidizing thousands of dollars of the price of each EV. Both through the Fed and States, while increasing demand and cost per KWH for electricity on many already overly stressed power companies.
