Had once talked to Wing Commander Robert Stanford Tuck...
He was quite the Man ! He performed his final work at Duxford,helping to ensure its' Survival through the Years. He flew with Douglass Bader and Company during the Battle of Britain era and beyond. Heck,I've even got a letter or two stashed away from him here. Duxford is an amazing Living Memorial to the entire B of B Aviators,and subsequently All who flew Defending and Attacking the Nazi Air Hordes in those very Dark Days of World War 2.......
