Good news for Tesla owners..... Tesla owners, remember to turn on your dashboard display PIN. WIRED security writer Andy Greenberg tells the tale of KU Leuven researchers who discovered that anyone with a bit of savvy and $600 in radio and computing equipment should be able to wirelessly read and decrypt Tesla key fobs, allowing them to swipe cars without a trace. Tesla rolled out its new antitheft PIN feature two weeks ago, and says no Model S units sold after June are vulnerable to the hack.

I am learning Najdi Arabic and will apply to Lucid motor. Thx to BB posts I have a massive amount of material to post and I intend to grab that $10 hour as a mindless Lucid promoter. I will just do a global change of Tesla to Lucid. It will help pay for the Mustang. Never let grass grow under ...... etc.

With your silver tongue you should do well. Just remember your ribs and try not to laugh too much.

Never let grass grow under your Mustang I say! Tesla is toast and so is BB, he will fade away with the dreams of an all electric for free future. Until they invent a battery the size of my smartphone that won't inherently catch fire and kill you....and only needs to be charged every 3 days if you are driving for 3 days...That curve is mighty long and winding......where is my flying car?

and yet today up nearly 4% again. Amazingly, the sell off not so bad. Barney is the greatest, I wish he sold horses. I can't tell if this is a stock or a religion.

Nah, he is to big to fail. Never happen.....he is a money laundering scheme on the order of Solyndra and that is how the Dems fund themselves.

You got it pretty well correct there. Elon got off cheap. Only 2 or 3 days post his indictment he has magically settled the entire matter by paying $20 million in chump change out of his own pocket, and stepping down from his position as the official CEO of Tesla for 3 years. An interim CEO will (nominally at least) take over, but at the end of 3 years Elon will in virtually all likelihood be reinstated as the Tesla CEO again. Effectively he is on self imposed CEO probation. A sham of justice in my opinion, as those who got wiped out in the futures market due to his false statements likely lost a combined total of well more than $20 million.

And he didn't even need to allow for the FBI to investigate for a week....

Correction, Elon remains as Tesla's CEO. He has merely (on paper at least) stepped down from being Tesla's Chairman for 3 years. The SEC "feared" that if they removed him from being the CEO, Tesla's stock value might fall, so they slapped his wrist instead. You can't make things like this up. Talk about being too big to fail.

He is still CEO. He is no longer Chairman of the Board. Canning him from that job (CEO) would hurt the stock too much.
