My wife has a fun habit of naming and personalizing our vehicles then like a pet it becomes attaching. After a 17 year absence from buying a new vehicle, we broke down and bought a second travel van. She calls our 2000 VW Eurovan MV "pink nose" even though it's black - makes me chuckle though. Some day maybe I'll paint a pink nose on it just for fun.

Bought a 2014 Honda Odyssey Elite "certified preowned" for about $20k less then new - wrangled it for $28k and has 33k miles. Last night true to form she wanted to name it and suggested "ody", or "elli". I said I'm calling it a "Ho" if it lets me down. We'll take possession this week after a few add on's to make it look more manly.

Anyone else have this attachment syndrome by your significant other? Any other naming suggestions??

Oh God, I can't show that to my wife she'll Fed Ex a whole bunch! Although I'm cheap enough to try and pass that off for Valentine's Day, wish me luck!!
