So i have a TDI Volkswagen diesel. Only thing going over intake valve back face is air.Intake Valve stems have seals on them to control oil leak on them. NOT stop oil but control oil flow. Seems there's issues with valve seals on those engines. An air induction upper flush for coking on valves has been used by many manufacturers. Does it work? yes..... how often does it need to be done? varies. At 40K miles or so i would be questioning the manufacturer/dealer about bad valve stem seals. Then i would say low quality parts are on them, seeing how it should be still under original warranty period by mileage you state. Swing the bat get the dealer to do a R&R of head to upgrade to new improved valve stem seals! PCV systems are touchy. Low grade oil, non synthetic make for a mess. Run a good synthetic oil and see how it goes. P.S. don't do jifffy lube oil places they put anything in and says it is what its supposed to be.

That's the dealers/Manufactures work around for doing what needs to be done.

I run an imported synthetic oil in my VW. Liqui-moly 5w30 low ash high mileage oil. only 2 or 3 companies make a low ash synthetic oil that meet VW specs.https://products.liqui-moly.us/oils/top-tec-4200- ... -30-1.html

But the new recall is due to issues created during the last recall...
Seems some fuel lines were crushed and began leaking...
Causing the car to ignite...
