The only two cars still parked in the whole lot were parked in the two spaces in front of it. But, neither car was an electric. Maybe the car owners were protesting the "green movement" ?

The new GM bolt is selling quite well. If they would put this platform into a larger SUV type vehicle it would really take off.
Tesla may be a flash in the pan when it all shakes out. Another Delorean or Tucker in the history books. They cant continue to operate losing money forever although the Fed Govt has managed to do that quite well up to now.

Our little village just joined in.
Or, it could be like the town of Warwick NY where the only in town EV charger is at 5 South St next to the Tuscan Cafe .... except it does not exist. Just a figment of someones imagination. Check it out but don't come with your Bolt.

Big losses, 2/3 of a billion dollars.
The taxpayers will take care of it.

Musk seems to be a visionary, but like Henry Ford you also need engineering talent to turn vision into reality. Ford had that, but does Musk. Vision is an ethereal thing. Is he another Steve Jobs? So far he seems to have a golden tongue if not many cars.

Soon EVs will not be cool and no one will listen to the Tesla owners ramblings at the cocktail evenings. That is when any fad market takes a nose dive. EVs still are a tiny part of the market. Pretty soon, as fashions change, we all will be listening to tales of the $100,000 pick up truck. Just as stupid.

Still taking the # of Tesla 3s .. limited to 22 Tesla 3 models delivered? Not company as a whole? Which, one qtr was not impressive tho.

BTW, as the industry makes a determined push for EVs. there is predicted to be 240mm on the road by 2040 up from 2 mm now ... This could happen only if new coal power plants are built and generate, as they do now, $0.05 kWh electricity for them...

Lutz says Tesla dead in a year.

http://www.leftlanenews.com/bob-lutz-tesla-wont-m ... z4z5iqIALN
BUT, is he taking into consideration the tax payer funded grant for building an electric semi ? That should keep them in business for more than 1 yr....
OR, didn't i give them enough yet ???

Those filthy rich con-artists !!!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting.
