Here is a pic of Austin on left & Joe when we settled on a camp site, & I asked them if they were ready to set up camp & hunt. Gotta love the response lol.
And btw Fred, ain't much worried bout anybody stealing the boys at all.
Cause would cost too much to feed em.
Hold my beer and watch this.....lol. The hunger games begin.😃 Looks like some great territory out that way.

Having never been there, I see the green evergreens and I see brown. What are the brown areas? Too rocky to grow or logged? Looks real pretty. Thanks for sharing.

The area is extremely different from anything Joe & I have ever seen. Nothing like the central Rockies, which we have both hunted. The brown areas have been logged & the green is mostly Doug fir. The area is also unbelievably steep!!! I know it's hard to tell from the pics, but many parts are unclimbable. Picture leaning a ladder against your house & you have it. Also this area is a temperate rain forest, so once in the timber it is really thick. A 50 yds shot would be a long one. Again the most difficult conditions you could imagine. But, was quite an experience & am just glad to have done it.

Sounds like the trip of a lifetime. I'm slightly envious.
