I'd have to wonder why this would need approval to begin with.
Side note, I know the one local dealer closed. A relative of mine knows him well. He closed temporarily and then when he opened got overwhelmed, it's very small shop and he had concerns so he closed again after 2 hours. He'll open by appointment but you pretty much need to know him.
