Hi guys,

My wife has a side business making wood signs and other small crafts. I want her to make a few coal related signs to put up on her Etsy and Facebook pages. Suggestions welcome.

What are some of your favorite Coal Quotes / Sayings?

"Coal - it's what's for winter" is a phrase I had put on some T shirts.

"Anthracite is the only Sight" is another phrase I've seen around here.

These are a few/many more good ones. I'm sure you'll get lots of great replies on this thread :)

....and I'm betting she'll get some sales here from fellas on coalpail.

Thanks Lee!

I've got a few dozen quotes so far. The best ones have come from signature lines.

No problem, sign me up for a plaque lol. I'd like one that could feature a fine specimen of stove size anthracite from my bin :)

A big woman, and a big barn, never did a man any harm.

So said an Amish farmer.

Money can't buy you love but it will buy something so close you will never tell the difference.
