Barn Owl Box

Other Heating: crown oil boiler, backup.if needed

Got ambitious today, so I built this box to mount on back side of barn up at the farm. About 2.5 hours to rip, glue and screw.

need to cut entrance hole, and a few claw channels under it.

Used scrap 3/4 ply from warehouse build from work.

end clean out door needs to be hinged on.

Maybe a bit late in season, but will mount it anyway see if any owls decide to nest it.

Done with box, just need 3" wide strip of board screwed to backside to lag bolt to barn. Hopefully get mounted today to barn.

G-Sons grabbing me some cedar bedding wood chips from humane society to put in it.
