well 80% frame is on its way..... gonna build a 70 style 45 5" acp. will take about a year to do, blued frame all other parts SS. should be ok.silver on blue, hope all machining I do doesn't get fuched up.... if so I will end up with a pricey paper weight.

Second part needed to do machining of frame, and mating up..The Upper slide. SS.
once this is done, then its getting internal parts, and hand fitting to finished upper/lower frame/slide. Will be nice...i HOPE! when done.-

Nope, its StainlessSteel part, a powder cast part... virtually eliminates machining of part made, but machining the mold that makes that, which the metal powder is filled into, and then basically, weld/molten formed in mold... if good mold, no cast marks, the better the mold maker, the better the finished part.waldo lemieux wrote:Wildman,
