well 80% frame is on its way..... gonna build a 70 style 45 5" acp. will take about a year to do, blued frame all other parts SS. should be ok.silver on blue, hope all machining I do doesn't get fuched up.... if so I will end up with a pricey paper weight.

I recommend a Wilson barrel. That, or a Bar-Sto.

CS,I do believe that's them ! I remember them being a 100 piece minimum order,so it just can't hurt to visit Brownell's to peruse the "I just need one" merchandise ! :up:

Second part needed to do machining of frame, and mating up..The Upper slide. SS.

once this is done, then its getting internal parts, and hand fitting to finished upper/lower frame/slide. Will be nice...i HOPE! when done.

Did you make those parts from a solid hunk of metal? What kind of machine does that? looks factory :up:

Nope, its StainlessSteel part, a powder cast part... virtually eliminates machining of part made, but machining the mold that makes that, which the metal powder is filled into, and then basically, weld/molten formed in mold... if good mold, no cast marks, the better the mold maker, the better the finished part.

Why rush?!... got Trump Roast for 4 years...LOL. Besides.... I want to take my time... fiddle, fart, enjoy the whole process... then have a one off, custom made firearm.... :cheers:
