Spent the summer riding , learned plenty about balance and going slow. These are kind of a fountain of youth, as some guys get into their 80's and still compete on tough courses.

Nice - that's the one motorcycle I've never ridden or worked on. I could have fun with one of those here. My yard itself is a challenging trials course.

Hi Smitty, Trials has been the best thing ive done in a long time. Very convenient if its in your backyard. The more recent bikes are 140 pounds ,hydraulic one finger clutch, hydraulic one finger brake. 5 pounds air in a tube less tire, very soft and comfortable to ride. Go slow and maneuver like a mountain goat, for a larger rock , hit the gas at the bottom and glide up the rock with throttle off. And absolutely no wheel spin to dig up or make ruts. It is actually fun going very slow. one or two mile per hour slow.
The events are held by the NETA, new England trials assoc, and one of the spots is in Brimfield MA, and when I say events, it is all just about going slow and relaxing, fun.
