Torvill and Dean with an ever better performance than their perfect 1984 gold win in the Olympics.
The word for this is "ethereal"

Im old enough but I dont remember them. Slow paced compared to the present day but very skilled in doing it. More like a romantic version of skating. I give them a 10 also! Thanks for posting it.
I watch a fair amount of the Olympics, 2 or 3 hrs a night. Figure skating is always good, and I like all the freestyle events. As long as the contestants dont get political, its usually good.

New to me also - I recognize some names from the 1980 Olympics, but not much between there and the mid 90's.
I am looking forward to next January, we will get to see some world-class athletes in Lake Placid. I am only 90 minutes away from the Olympic Center.

This is ice dancing, not figure skating. A completely different category.
