How terrible for him. Used to be a steady listener but time and his constant backslapping turns me off sometimes. Regardless, that is no way to go out for anyone.

Damn Shame! I didn't realize he was 69. I would listen here and there, but the man was not my Guru. I enjoyed the fact that he'd jam the Communist Democrats every chance he got! He's already had them congratulating him for coming down with Cancer! Go figure. I hope he sticks around !

I watched him years ago on tv but no more. I used to laugh a lot during the Clinton years at the start of the show, it showed how many days into the occupation of the White House we were  Made me laugh every time!

He has a tough road ahead. Hopefully he has many good years after he beats it.

He got through his hearing problem without missing a beat. He is tough with the right frame of mind to beat this too.

You don't beat advanced lung cancer. It is probably into the lymph system and will spread everywhere.

Cancer is bad, advanced cancer is worse. He is probably talking about stage four. Historical survival rates are under 5%, Rush has enough money to get the best health care treatment available but what does that mean for lung cancer? I wish him the best.

Very sad day yesterday listening to him. Last month he was off the air for a week, figured he had the flu. Nope, he was dealing with the cancer. It was a real stomach punch, I’m still trying to get a grip on it.
My thoughts and prayers are out to ya Rush!

Don

Yes. Being a daily listener for the most part, I heard it live yesterday as well. Felt like someone shot my dog. I pray the best for him, I guess I never imagined the day would come when he wouldn’t be on the radio.

I do like it when Mark Stein fills in. Maybe EIB can get him a contract, he’s a barrel of laughs.

Correct! Mark Stein has filled in for some Very Big Shoes when Rush has been off. He did it in his own Independent Style to boot! Let's see what the Old Man Upstairs Grant's Rush on this Voyage. It's Small Being A Mere Human!
