Kobe Bryant & 13 yr old daughter died in helicopter crash in Ca. I'm not much of a b-ball fanatic, but I followed some of the stuff this guy did since retirement. He was one of the good guys! Damn shame on the lil girl. Prayers headed out for his wife & 3 daughters & other people involved. Bunch of new stars in the sky that night!

Yes, prayers here too. I got to see him play once against the Timberwolves. The only pro BB game I ever went too but was because of the Lakers great team at the time that I wanted to see. Hopefully more good things will happen because of him, even after death. It often works that way. RIP Kobe!

Indeed very sad. It looks like he did a lot to get young kids engaged and shown a positive outlook in life with self esteem after he retired. Thoughts go out to his family and the other families with their tragic losses.
