I recently discovered that You Tube carries all those wonderful BBC documentaries.

I am posting this to point out in particular one presenter, who I think superb. In the search box on You Tube put in "Lucy Worsley" and then pick out a subject that interests you. Presumably you like history.

She has a doctorate and is a conservator. She is also attractive to look at. What is particularly winning is her charm, wit, and ability to say things by the emphasis on words, the slitting of eyes, and wrinkle of nose. A great talent in telling a story. She also frequently dresses the part, from a suit of armor, to an Elizabethan gown, to victoria's mourning gown. The humor is often subtle in that very English way; Leading her war horse while fully armored; very serious and then the camera pans away and out to reveal this nut in armor leading a horse around an empty lot all by herself.

If you need relief from American TV crap I highly recommend this.

I could not stop watching this. If you would like to see a true craftsman at work with hand tools, on wood, this is great. It gets better and better as it goes along. Twenty something videos with not a word spoken.
