Just a quick thank you to NH. My wife and myself, brother and sister in law went to Concord Saturday night for the Jamey Johnson show at the Capitol Center for the Arts. What a beautiful little theater, not much smaller than our own here in Rutland, VT and with the same amount of class.

More flannel than an LL Bean catalog but only a couple drunk dummies and for a change they weren't within swinging distance of us.

As for Jamey Johnson, if you guys (and gals) like country music, do yourselves a favor and grab his discs. The guy is a great singer and his band is top notch. His playset included his own music...including his version of George Strait's hit "Give It Away" (which he wrote) to Willie's "Moonlight in Vermont", a few Waylon songs, Skynard's "Curtis Loew", and just a bunch of others.

The man sang for two hours straight, only taking a break to introduce his bandmates. The only time he wasn't singing was then, and to introduce himself after his band...saying simply "I'm Jamey Johnson."

At the end of the concert he was shaking hands with the crowd on the stage.

Can't wait to see him and his band again whenever they come around.

New Hampshire

Sounds Old America.

Too bad Hillary tainted the Manchester public sewer system yesterday.
