This was an interesting dude. I really only enjoyed his Purple Rain but heard him in a couple interviews. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders or at least a real good philosophical out-look. RIP PRINCE--Now I'm curious as to how bad the media beats him up

1984....I remember his music well...RIP
Ironically...his passing coincides with my brother passing, 12 years ago on this same date.

Definitely a talented artist and universally respected in the industry. I would be surprised if this is drug related.... sad it is...

He was one of those rare musicians who could play any instrument. Most of his music was not my style but his talent was incredible. RIP

TMZ huh? I think I'll wait for a reputable source. TMZ's about one thing & only one thing$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Ya follow my thinkin? so far I'm hearing pain killers for hip replacement & ankle problems. For the record, cocaine is NOT an opiate. Maybe the hospital giving the anti-opiate shot killed him--that was for the conspiracy theorists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to put things in perspective. The 'cocaine' word came from this thread.freetown fred wrote:TMZ huh? I think I'll wait for a reputable source. Opiates, pain killers, whatever, we lost another talented musician this year.
Living in the state, I have been told his house concerts were great events to attend, and of course his concerts.
If you want to see how talented of a guitar player he was, tune in at the 3:30 mark of this video. Not many pickers around that could do that. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=prince+george+harrison& ... ORM=VRDGAR
