One suitable size beef/deer roast
One 12 oz beer of choice
Two onions sliced thin
2 bay leaves

Sear roast on all sides. Put in crockpot with rest stuff beer included. Done when falls apart. Thickin broth for gravy if wanted.

Also works on coal stove or range

Just do an internet search for "slow cooker" recipes and you'll have more than you'll ever need.

well i can do soups, making a navy bean soup to nite until later Saturday afternoon. Sundays crock pot try will be eggplant parm. Made the egg plant parmigiana before, but in an 8 qt crock. worked and tasted Real good. that was 6 years ago. So experiment and taste. Sure none of what i do will kill me.
If it does tell freettown fred to come quickly and get one of my Non holy oldies for a new filter!
