Anyone here remember the Blind Robins snacks that most every corner bar had hanging on the back wall? Has anyone seen them lately?

I remember them but rarely go to bars anymore. Never wanted to try them either. Don't know if they are around anymore.

:no1: I remember them little salty fish, I was usually pretty loaded by the time I was eating those. Aw the good old days , wake up with a hangover and the shitz.

Haha good one! I did something like that once myself. I put a fish in the roof vent on a truck camper top, of a guy who blocked me in at my fishing spot

I started to gag just thinking about those things. I heard Freetown Fred eats them for breakfast.

Pickled eggs and sausages for me, or peanuts.

I thought, what is this chit. Now I know it is kippers - yummy. British breakfast of kippers, poached eggs and toast and marmalade served in my youth all to often. Probably explains the mental damage and certainly explains the high blood pressure.

Yes FF but that was not every day fair. Every day in the long damp English winters breakfast was porridge ruined with black strap molasses. Before school I was also forced to take cod liver oil that made my breath smell and taste like a buzzards armpit. It was to ward off colds. I never did get a cold or the flu but I am sure that diet was nothing to do with it.
