Have any of you used any of the cheap electric apple peelers? Are they any good? Recommendations?
Im mostly talking about the $20-$30 models but if theres one thats better thats more than that I'll listen.
Ive used a hand crank one for years but my shoulder cant seem to take it this year. All I need it to peel is apples and pears. Some years I freeze up 30 or 40 quarts and others 10. I have the most delicious pears and I try not to waste those. They are "Luscious" variety, probably the best I can grow in my climate.

Hmm, I hadnt thought of a drill, but that would be hard to control unless it was really slow. I did just look at mine and the handle does not come off of the shaft. I can just see the peeling fly though
