It happens every year around this time, I eat my first cherry and then I’m hooked; addicted to cherries. I shudder to think how much I have spent on cherries over the past few weeks. They are expensive little fruits and I have eaten many pounds so far and will probably eat many more.
I asked mister Google and he says cherries are good for you; a healthy fruit, so I guess I will keep on eating and spitting pits until the season is over.

Cherry pits burn real well once dried for awhile. I eat way too many when in season, don't know the BTU but I imagine it's fairly high, I mix them in with my rice coal.

Great body alkalizers. They are the ultimate treatment for gout. Don't ask me how I know.
