New Years Meal on a SF 250

Hand Fed Coal Stove: Harman SF250 & Mark III backup
Other Heating: Oil Hot Water

This years meal was up to me so I used my Grandmother's 75+ year old aluminum dutch oven to roast the pork and sauerkraut. Got the SF 250 side wall temp to 400 degrees, browned the 3lb pork roast, added the kraut and some water and let it roast 2.5 hours. Finally was at 170 degrees inside the roast, let it simmer on a trivet until potatoes boiled tender and it was pure delicious. Hope everyone had a similarly enjoyable New Year dinner!

Oh, yea that's right. I think I can recreate the scene and ambience.
