Hey guy's,
I'm going to rotisserie one on the charcoal kettle Christmas Eve.
The last one I did was 15lbs but he just fit on my 22 inch Weber kettle.
I'd like to order one soon from my butcher @ no more than 12lbs.
Has anyone cooked a little guy like that and any tips you can offer?
Thanks,
Scott

Scott, You're a man after my own heart!! I love to bbq, and do it year round on my back deck. And I too have the Weber 22 inch kettle grill. Nothing like charcoal. Anyway I have never done a pig; However check out http://www.bbqpitboys.com. Very informative, and HIGHLY entertaining!!! I do know that you must cook indirect; and Weber sells charcoal baskets/retainers that I place on each side of the grill. This allows for a drip pan in the middle, and enough room for the pig. The above website is the basis from which I am still learning. Good luck.

Thanks JF!
I've cooked many larger pigs, but only the one 15lb guy.
I'll post picks when I prepare it so you can drool!

Almost done!
My 22 inch Weber Kettle was. A bit too small for this 14.5 lb guy! The 26 inch kettle grill would work better. The seasonings are just sea salt !
